Di ko na mapagkasya to sa isang comment so i decided na post na lang...

when i mean power of brains, i dinn't mean just math... i mean all it does is get you data and you can interpret... these data will help me interpret what you people want... i'll soon bew conducting a small survey... and bea... i see you too are trying your best na pigilan na ung mga gumagamit ng pangalan mo... Try your best to regulate them, if you really are disturbed by them, as for me, I'll continue this fight because this school year has better turned me into a leader than i was back in the honor section. I'll admit it honestly, I was more of a follower than a leader, but now, I've seen the effects of being one. Hindi niyo ba ako nakikita na when there's something that must be done, I push you to do it?

I'll be there saying things like "...People, Prayer!!!! Prayer Leader!!!!..." or maybe "...Ano pa ba puedeng madagdag dito? mga kulay?..." or "...Guys, kinig na kayo..." or "...Halika na!! Simulan na natin ung group work!!..."

Hindi ba ginagawa ko itong mga ito before pa? But some just ignore me... pester me... laugh at me... like I'm some kind of worthless piece of junk na nasa tabi lang...

Kumbaga, parang existence lang na walang kayang gawin... I'll admit that I was irresponsible at times, yet who have you seen such passion for something? Yang mga math seminar/contest and orchestra ko, do you think i just go for it just for the sake of doing it? the grade? the insentive? NO!!! I do it, because it is what i want, and running for EVP is what i want.

power of brains, you ask? When was the last time that you really got scared? during a movie? a freakishly deadly nightmare? losing a friend? a celphone? what i'm really scared of is not being able to use this brain of mine to be able to do service to others. Many of our people have brains, but do they really use it? You'll see people get grades of 99, 98, 97, 96, etc... but what are they for? LSYC? YFC? SI? no offense to these organizations, but you can do a whole lot better than just these... service to the lord and self-understanding is also important, but haven't we been doing this since, i dunno grade 2 or 3? Kung kulang pa rin, ay palagi ka yatang nawawala sa tamang daan... kailangan mo nga ito...

sense of companionship and peers? This is all peer pressure. you still see each other everyday. walang katapusang kwento. then sasabihin mo bonding period... this is ridiculous. De La Salle Zobel is first and foremost an academic institution that allows a holistic formation of the Christian person, yet if you can't balance all else, then, Zobel has failed you.

To chio and all those na naglalagay ng negative comments, if you really have nothing good to say, or pura platawa lang, just keep it to yourselves, wag niyo na ikalat. Di rin naman nakakatawa a... just for laughs? do you even think what you did was funny? anong nakakatawa doon? ung pinaglalaitan niyo ako? yung pagseseryoso ko sa inyo? who even started it? It's all in your mind, yang nakakatawa... find a hundred people who will find what you did funny... sige pag nagawa niyo, maniniwala ako just for laughs nga lang ito...

To ryan and berna at iba pa, thank you sa lahat ng support nyo, kahit nung isang araw lang ako nagdecide mag run... pray for me to do my best sa upcoming meeting de avance at elections... thanks!!!

Can you believe this? I'm running for EVP. Honestly, I never ever had any intention of running until the Voter's Education thing. I mean, having a Sophomore for President is absurd and outrageous. In my humble opinion, if one Sophomore enters the execom, that reflects that our batch is worthless as anyone of us could have run, yet didn't even attempt to run and ruined the whole democratic process that we call election. One party alone does not allow democracy wherein people have the right to choose their government leaders. That is why I have decided to run for a position in our student government, the SRCC. I know that being a president is already too much for someone like me, whose experience in politics has only been in grade 1 when I was the treasurer and Grade 7 when I was the secretary for my club, the Beginning Band. I just hoipe you'll help me all in making this democratic process a success and even if I don't win, thank you for voting or not voting for me, but I will do my best to win. To all those who think I won't win just because my counterpart in the other party is hugely influential, especially with her parents, think again. You'll see the power of brains against popularity.

1. Plan ahead. That is the key to success.
2. Try and foresee all possible outcomes.
3. Treat it as a debate, yet present it as a friendly conversation, especially if bringing up an argument.
4. Timing is everything. If done wrong timely, the consequences can be devastating.
5. Start your conversation with something related to the subject area he or she teaches, which should have a positive insight. This is to get the attention of the teacher and make him or her notice you. You may never know, but this may also be a good opportunity to make a friend in the faculty/administration.
6. Prove that you are trustworthy. If you have a discipline problem, this may pose as a challenge.
7. Try to get good grades and recite frequently. If you are an honor certificate awardee/former honor section member, this should not be too much of a problem.
8. Outline all your thoughts and arguments in your mind before putting it into action; remember that to the teacher, this must appear spontaneous.
9. Don't be nervous. Relax. Remember taht many people, including yourself may benefit from what you are doing.
10. Get information about the teacher beforehand. Try asking former students, and teaching styles. This gives you a first impression on a teacher. Just remember that first impressions don't always last, yet this gives you an overview on what to expect from him or her.

I don't guarantee that this tips will help you, but it works for me. This is not arranged from best to worst, yet all these are sure to help you in your quest to be close to your teacher. Sorry If this is the only post for January. Hope you compensate.

I'm ever so sorry na hindi ako nakapagblog for quite some time coz my computer broke down due to the persistence of my brother to play when supposedly, he should be studying. He opened the computer and pressed buttons allover, especially the reset button. So our computer's a bit busted and i am stuck on an internet cafe now trying to find something for that brother of mine which so happens to be facts about Ireland.

So many things have happened while my computer broke.

• We watched the DLSZ vs. UPIS game 2 at the Araneta Coliseum along with the whole high school!! Todo cheering!!
• We won by default on our movie in English, Traces against How much does it take to excavate a fragile soul?
• We didn't get a single award in the awarding ceremony for the movies. :(
• Quizzes and LTs piled up
• Teachers getting more brutal esp. Ms. Sison and most especially to Mr. Guzman of the general music class

Speaking of Mr. Guzman, many of our batchmates have been suspected of plagiarism due to the reaction paper they submitted to him. Could it be favoritism? What if the student really writes that way? that long? there's injustice involved, and i'm sure that even though quite a number of SC people were involved as well, i surely hope that this scandal won't be a hindrance when entering college. Which leads me to ask the question, I f there had been an honor section, would this have happened? I know it sounds silly and far away, and maybe I am the only SC who hasn't given up just yet, because there's still a good chance it'll come back.

Gradewise, my ranking demoted a bit. I am top 30 in the batch yet i know something isn't right. I consulted Ms. Isidro after learning that the next person in terms of ranking to me has an average of 94 when rounded of. When I round of my gen. average, it results to 95 even after sir ezrel's revision of my physics grade from 92 to 94. I'll get to the bottom of this.

I'll try to go to the internet cafe more often para makapagblog. Hindi ako makapagblog sa cybernook or sa computer time na e. Feeling guilty ako. :P

I finally conclude that I won't be seeing my PS2 for a while, so i retreat to the shades of my PC. It's like beeing grounded for a nonsense reason, except I know the reason; that is to remove my brother's addiction to it. Alas, such cruel fate! It might bring me good, or nothing at all, but there's no denying that deep down inside, my PS2 is one of the things that keep me going each and every day in school. It bings me such grief to part at such a loving friend, but I can't seem to help it.

After my awakening earlier today, I expected it to be the usual [well, usual...] Sunday. Took a shower. Got dressed to get ready for mass... suddenly, pa knocked on the door and informed that I, my sister Annie, Lolo Apo and Lola Bing are going to eat out later, so we are to go to mass with them later in the day! Whoopee!!! But, in the process, I get to endure a lot of waiting and "helping" my brother and sisters... Annie needed help on word problems in linear equations in one variable. so i gave her a mini-test... So by 2pm, I slept a little and went on to lolo and lola's place [katabi lang ng bahay namin... coz our Silverio family has 1... 2... 3... 4... 5[including a small house and a house at the back of our current one].. 6... 7... 7 houses basically...] went on to see the newly built house... ganda sobra... wait till I get a digi cam sometime in the future... you'll get to see it... so on ewe went to St. Jerome by ATC to attend mass... nakasalubong ko si Angeline Dellosa bandang communion, former busmate ko.... saya... tapos ATC kami para magshopping... 6pm pa lang e... at first, window shopping muna... tapos, bumili na din kami ng tuwalya sa may isang tiangge na worth P700... tatlong P180 at dalawang P80... si lola at annie pumasok sa PC para bumili ng palda worth P1200... tapos tumingin silang dalawa sa isang store na mukhang may mga mura... nainip kami ni lolo... sabi ni lolo na may gusto siyang tignan... so sinundan ko siya... pasok kami sa Geox... bilihan ng sapatos... pinapili ako ng sapatos... so pili-pili... nakapili ako ng dalawa... but i had to choose one... so pinili ko ung mahal... natural! P5800... di naman tanggi si lolo... i had absolutely no intention of buying shoes this day.... tapos binilhan ako! parang nung binilhan nya ako ng P21000 na 25 inch na Sony Wega TV... bait!!! Yan si lolo... tapos magshopping... nag Dads-Saisaki-Kamayan kami... sarap, as usual... kuhanan ng maraming tempura at ice cream plus a dash of everything na mukhang masarap sa aking paningin...ehehe... tapos yan na...

Okay pa ung mga nangyari throughout this week eh... nakausap ko si ms. rodriguez... small chat with the principal, ms. cruz... nagkaclub... okay naman ang nagyayari sa bird nest/house as well as the ballroom... ms. vicky laf3p as usual... a lot of honor section plans working well... quizzes are so-so..., economics LT went on smoothly... only bad part this week was me able to see bea sp cry... it was horrible... that was only the second time i saw her cry, and both were horrible... for the reason, just ask any group member of the english movie for the full details...

Nagkataon lang kahapon, i woke late, so hindi ko natago ang ps2 from my brother, who keeps pestering the maids and me about going to play at the ps2... ma got annoyed as well, and a little dispute between the parents has been going on... so, tinago ung ps2 ko, and i get the most boring weekend... gusto ko nga sanang pumunta kina JV upang makapagps2, kaso tinamad ako, kasi ala akong load... haaayyy...boring...

kanina pa, paggising ko 7: 30, I rushed to check the MTG sked sa algebra ntbk and found out na may meeting pala ngayon! I hesitated for a bit, and decided to go to san beda college alabang anyway... i wanted to find out how bad i went through quiz 1... so on i went, and came a few minutes before 9 am... pagdating ng teacher, welll, got a little excited sa lesson... biglang sinabi na may QUIZ!!! Preposterous... outrageous... insane... blasphemy... lahat ng maisip na adjective... well... magquiz na din... sobrang hirap ng quiz... I swear... pakita ko sa inyo pag binalik na... pinakita din sa akin ung result ng quiz 1, pero hindi pa ibabalik coz may hindi pa nagququiz... score? 13.... out of 30 something points.... sobrang bagsak... saya ng buhay....

festi ako after... ala pang NBA Live 2006 sa PS2... sa PC pa lang... oh well... bought radiata stories... pauwi, bago sumakay ng jeep... naabutan ko si Mark Silverio [cousin ko na nag-aaral sa DLSU-CSB] na may kasaman babae... tried to get his attention... pero hindi ako yata napansin...
may sunday pa... hope it gets better [the weekeend, i mean...]

You should have seen him kahapon sa Spain vs. Germany game sa FIBA Europe... Fade away game winning shot!! His trademark move...
